On this past Monday, February 3rd, 2025, two of our valued members vehicles were stolen from the parking lot outside of Evolve Fitness Center. One of the persons responsible used stolen identification to register for membership at the gym. The other accomplice in the crime pretended to be interested in joining the gym while asking for more information and a tour of the facility from our staff as a distraction during the theft of the car keys used to steal the vehicles. The stolen vehicle keys were taken from unlocked lockers in the locker room located inside of the gym.
Erroneous information posted on social media, indicated that keys were stolen by individuals running into the gym and taking the keys off of the upfront key rack. This never occurred.
When the vehicles were discovered missing by their owners the Central Bucks Regional Police Department were contacted immediately. While both vehicles were recovered promptly, unfortunately wallets and other items of value were taken from the vehicles. The individuals responsible are still wanted and Evolve Fitness Center is cooperating fully and has provided access to all onsite security footage to the police on this ongoing investigation of a large scale criminal enterprise that has affected other gyms, recreational parks and parking lots up and down the Northeast.
Evolve Fitness Center reminds all members when using lockers located in the gym locker rooms to be locked and to limit as much as possible any valuables brought into the gym to be stored, and even not to leave valuables visible inside of your cars when you are inside using the gym.
Evolve Fitness Center takes the security of our members and their valuables serious and will be doing everything that we can to prevent further such unfortunate incidents from occurring and encourage our members to do the same.
